A virtual dialogue session titled ‘Empowering Youth in Cultural Institutions through Humanitarian Action’
Sharjah Museums Authority is pleased to host a virtual dialogue session titled ‘Empowering Youth in Cultural Institutions through Humanitarian Action’ to celebrate International Youth Day on August 12 and World Humanitarian Day on August 19.
The dialogue session aims to highlight the role of cultural institutions in supporting and encouraging volunteer work and humanitarian initiatives through activating the role of youth working in these cultural institutions, and empowering their efforts to identify and address the challenges that they face.

The session will be held via Zoom platform on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at 12:30 pm, and will be moderated by Ms. Khawla Mohammad Al-Shuweihi, Administrative Assistant – Museum Strategic Planning Department at Sharjah Museums Authority. The speakers are Mr. Hamid Ibrahim bin Karam, Programs Senior Manager – Sama Dubai TV. And Ms. Huda Walid Al Bastaki, President of Community Development Authority Youth Council – Social Care for people of Determination, and Ms. Amna Abdullah Al Naqbi, Training Coordinator at Sharjah Museums Authority.
