From Oyster to Crown
Imagine diving into the depths of the sea, where an oyster hides a shiny, precious pearl. A brave diver sets out to find it, helped by friends aboard a large jalboot ship. When they return with the pearls, they visit Al Tawwash (pearl merchant) to weigh, measure and to calculate the value of the pearls.

This exhibition celebrates 30 years since the opening of Bait Al Naboodah, where the late Obaid Al Naboodah traded pearls, buying and selling them as part of the story of the sea and the old trade.
