The last years in the United Arab Emirates witnessed the emergence of a number of professional associations that were proclaimed in accordance with the provisions of Federal Law No. 6 of 1974 and its amendments by Federal Law No. 20 of 1980, and the Sociologists Association was one of the first professional associations. Ministerial Resolution No. 76/2 of 1981 and began its activities on 9/11/1981 AD, where professional associations in the state are considered the framework that brings together and unites members of society from a particular profession, to express the interests of these groups on the one hand and to contribute to the development and development of society on the other hand. And the Sociologists Association As one of these associations, it was established to deal with workers in the social field and care for social professions and to embody the principle of participation in the social development process.
