Little Explorers – Woven Wonders

Little Explorers is a joyful and imaginative series of educational programs designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young minds. Rooted in Little Readers’ developmental pillars: STEM (Education, Literature, Art & Identity, Wellbeing, and Music), each session invites children to explore the world around them through hands-on discovery, storytelling, creative expression, and mindful play. Whether building, painting, reading, or dancing, Little Explorers nurtures a wholesome child and celebrates the wonder of learning through meaningful, playful experiences.

10th October – “Bloom & Weave”

Children twist and weave colorful pipe cleaners into flowers like roses and daisies, then bundle them into bright mini bouquets with ribbon wrapping: a fun, creative craft to take home or gift.

17th October – “My Little Weave”

Children weave colorful yarn or fabric strips on a simple standing loom to create a small mat. This fun craft builds focus and creativity, leaving them with a unique piece to use or display at home.

24th October – “Weaving My Story”

Children use their own looms to weave with yarn, adding personal touches like notes or charms. The result is unique artwork that reflects their creativity and can be proudly displayed at home.

31st October – “Little Hands, Big Baskets”

Children can enjoy basket weaving using simple flower-shaped cardboard bases, threading colorful yarn or ribbons through the slots to create their own mini baskets. This activity strengthens fine motor skills, encourages patience, and allows children to explore patterns and colors while crafting a functional piece they can proudly take home.
