Sharjah Maritime Museum is presenting a panel discussion under the title “Pearl Diving Trip” on Tuesday 15 February 2022 presented by poet and researcher Fahad Al Maamari. The first session “The Big Dive” focuses on
1. pearling
2. Poetry as well as idioms
3. Stories from the sea.
The second session “The Role of Emirati Women during Diving Trips” highlights
1. The role of the Emirati woman as she prepares her husband for the pearling trip.
2. Manages the house during his absence.
3. Makes traditional handmade crafts.

The entire activates are subject to the precautionary and preventive measures applied in Sharjah Museums
