Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space sciences & Technology

SAASST started with only the Planetarium, space exhibitions, and the Sharjah Observatory. It was focused on adding to the cultural knowledge of space sciences, astronomy, and takes on the field from the historical and Islamic perspectives. As is still the case, the Planetarium, exhibitions, and Sharjah Observatory were open to the public to come experience our vast Universe right from the city of culture, Sharjah.
