Global Ghana, the second edition of The Africa Institute’s annual country-focused program will be inaugurated in Sharjah, UAE, convened by leading scholars Akosua Adomako Ampofo, Jean Allman, Carina Ray, and Joseph Oduro-Frimpong.

The opening will begin in the evening of November 12th, 2021, at 5:00 PM GST, with an inaugural lecture to be presented by the season’s conveners and moderated by the institute’s director followed by a musical performance by the Ghanaian band Hewale Sounds.
