Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial 11th Edition
The Sharjah Calligraphy Biennial, a cultural event, will honor three pioneers in Arabic calligraphy: Emirati calligrapher Khalid Ali Al Jalaf, Iraqi researcher Idham Khalid Hanish, and Spanish historian José Miguel Poyatos. The biennial will feature solo exhibitions at the Calligraphy Square in Sharjah, with the works of the honorees continuing to be displayed to the public throughout the duration.
