Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, in collaboration with the National Museum of Oman, presents the exhibition ” Masterpiece from Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization.”
This exhibition aims to convey and narrate many stories to reflect the richness and thematic depth of the unique artefacts, carefully selected from the collection of the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization; inviting the visitor to contemplate the uniqueness of Islamic art and civilisation.
The objects on display here shed light on the evolution of civilisation and the arts in the Islamic world over more than 1,400 years, presenting 82 artefacts divided into three sections:

The Arts of Calligraphy: Represented by various styles of calligraphy on different materials, enhancing the beauty of timeless words and showcasing the passion for Arabic calligraphy.

Sciences and Innovations: Highlighting the brilliance of Muslim scholars in various fields.

Harmony and Diversity: Shedding light on the beauty of Islamic art and the development of arts and civilization from the early periods to contemporary times.
